Boy, I've really had the ATC itch lately. I made a short list of characters that I wanted to draw a while back, and another fave of mine, John Constantine a.k.a. "Hellblazer" was one of them. One of the first ATC trades that I did was with the talented Wynn Ryder, and he did a very cool version of John for me. I would be lying if I said that his card hadn't sort of inspired this one. I originally wanted to have John giving everyone the bird, but I figured I'd make it PG-13 and do some cool Tarot/Pentagram/Voo Doo type card, then just hide the index finger... kind of killed two birds with one stone, so to speak. Anyway, I suppose this took about an hour, all-in-all. It was a nice way to unwind from the ad world for a bit. I hope all you artsy, ATC, comic book, sketch folks like it. Peace.
